ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS An PROVISIONS FOR FURNISHING
LEVEE MATERIAL TO TEE CITY OP ALAMEDA, CALLING FOR BIDS
AND DIRECTING TEE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE
RESOLVED BY TEE COMIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications
and Provisions for furnishing LEVEE MATERIAL to thd City of Alameda, No. MS 8-49-10,
be, and the same are hereby, approved and adopted,
'RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of B:05 o'clock, P. Y., on Tuesday the 6th day' of Sep-
tember, 1949, for the furnishing to the City of LEVEE MATERIAL, in accordance with
Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the
City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked. on the out-
side, "Proposal for Levee Material," or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded, subject tc the provisions of the
Charter of said City, to thp responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best
bid. The right is recerved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda limes-
Star, a notice calldnG for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions ef this
resolution and of said 0lec30atna and Provisions.
