REQUESTING CANCELLATION OF CCTSTY TANES 00 PROPERTY
ACQUIRED BY THE CITY OF ALAMEDA FOR MCNICIPAL PURPOSES.
000J3EaS, the following described real property, situated in the City of
Alameda, County cf Alameda, State of California, to wit:

SAHCFL 2:
Parcel 71, Block 449, Map Book 74, Sub. 2, as shown on
1949-1950 tax bill of Alameda County. (Area 0100).
Parcel 65, Block 449, Map Book 74, Sub. 2, as shown on
1949-1250 tax bill of Alameda County (Area 0100).
has been assessed. heretofore for county purposes for the fiscal year 1949-1950
and the taxes levied thereon are uncollected and unpaid; and
WHEREAS, after, the time said assessment and taxes became a lien on said
parcels of real property, to wit, on June 24, 1949, the said parcels of real
Property were acquired for municipal purposes by the City of Alameda, a municipal
corporation, by Deeds recorded in the office of the County Recorder cf Alameda
County on June 24, 1949, in Bock 5826 of Official Records, at pages 235 and 237;
and
WHEREAS, ever since the said 24th day of June 1949, the said parcels of
real property have been and now are owned by said City of Alameda and have been
and now are being used for public purposes and because of such. public ownership
aro rot subject to sale for delinquent taxes;
007, THEREFORE, RE IT RESOLVED '3Y THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Alameda be, and it is hereby, re-
quested to make its order, and to take such further proceedings as may be neces-
sary, to cause all uncollected taxes, assessments, penalties or costs charged or
levied for county purposes upon the aforesaid parcels of real property, to be
cancelled; and that a record of such cancellation be made by the officer or offi-
cers having custody of the record. thereof, in accordance with the provisions of
Section 4986 of the Revenue and Taxation Code of the State of California.
:RESOLVED, FURTHEE, that the City Clerk forward certified copies of this
resolution forthwith to the Board of Supervisors of said Alameda County.
