RESOLUTION NO. 4112.
ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING ONE 332
LATEST MoDISI, 1/2-TON CAB AND CHASSIS AND FOUR-
COMPARTMEM SPECIAL BODY TO THE CITY OP ALANITA
FOR THE CITY POUND, CALLING FOR BIDS AND
DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SANE
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TIE CITY jr ALAMEDA that the Specifications
and Provisions for furnishing:
Item 1 - One new latest model 1/2-ton cab and chassis;
Item 2 - Manufacture and mount four-compartment special
body on chassis supplied under Item 1 as shown
on Drawing 3354, Case 54;
Item 3 - Combined items 1 and 2,
to the City of Alameda, for the City Pound, No. MS 12-49-12, filed in the office of
the City Clerk on December 13, 194.2, be, and the same are hereby, approved and
adopted.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will reeve
sealed bids uc tc the hour of 5:05 o,clock P. M., on 'Tuesday, January 3, 1950,
for the furniShing to the City of:
Item 1 - One new latest model 1/2-ton cab and chassis;
Item 2 - Manufacture and mount four-compartment special
body an chassis supplied under Item 1 as shown
on Drawing, 5354, Case 54;
Item 3 - Combined items 1 and 2,
ir accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to
the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and
plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for 1/2-ton Cab and Chassis and four-
compartment special body," or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best
bid, The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda TiMen-
Star, a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this
resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly' and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in adjourned regular meeting assembled on the ]3th day of December, 142, by the
following vote, to wit:
