ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOE FURNISHING ONE NEW
1950 MODEL, 6 C9 8-CYLINDER COUPE AND/OR 2-DOOR
SEDAN AUTOMOBILE TO TEE CITY OF ALAMEDA FOR TEE
HEALTH DEPARTMENT, CALIJNG POE BIDS AND DIRECT-
ING TEE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME.
RESOLVED 3Y TEE COUNCIL OF T9E CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications
and. Provisions for furnishing one (1) new 1950 model, 6 or 8-cylinder coupe and/or
2-door sedan automobile to the City sf Alameda, for the „Health Department, No.
15. 12-49-15, filed in the office cf the City Clerk on December 13, 1949, be, and
the same are hereby, approved and adopted-
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed 'olds up to the hour of 9:05 o'clock P. '6., on Tuesday, January 3, 1950, for
the furnishing to the City of one (II new 1950 model, 6 or 8-cylinder coupe and/or
2-door sedan automobile, in accordance :with said Specifications and Provisions:.
Bids must be :presented to the City Clerk, in the City. Hall, Alameda, California',
under sealed. cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for 6 or 9-cylin-
der coupe and/ 2-door sedRn," or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of tho
Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best
bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City C1erR is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-
Star, a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this
resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in adjourned regular meeting assembled on the 13th day cf December, 1949, by the
following vote, to wit:
AY'-''' Councilmen Anderson, Jones, Osborn and Fresident Branscheid,
NOES: None,
ABSENT: Councilman Sweeney, (1).
