ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING EjGHT (8)
NEI 1950 TWO-DOOR SEDAN AUTOMOBILES TO THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT CALLING,
FOE BIDS AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO
ADVERTISE SAME.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AIAISEDA that the Specifications
and Proylsiona for furnishing eight (8) new 1950 model, two-door sedan automobiles
to the City cf Alameda, for the Police. Department, No. MS 1-50-1, filed in the
office of the City Clerk on January 3, 1950, be, and the same are hereby, approved
and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 o'clock P. M., on Tuesday, January 17, 1950,
for the furnishing to the City of eight (8) new 1950 model, two-door sedan automo-
biles, in accordance with said Specifications nd Provisions. Bids must he pre-
sented to tho City Clerk, in the City .Hall, Alameda, Californla, ander sealed
cover and plainly narked on thw outside, "Proposal for eight (81 two-dcor sedan
automobiles," or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarde.d . subject to the provisions of tile
Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the low and best
bid. The right la reserved to reject any or all bid'.
The City Clerk i8 hereby directed t advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star,
a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this resolu-
tion and of said Specifications and Provisions.

I, the anderstmned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 3rd day of January, 1950, by the following
vote, to wit:
