ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING TWO (2) NEW
1.950 COUPE AUTOMOBILES TO THE CITY OF ALAMEDA FOR
THE BUILDING- DEPARTNENT, CALLINO FOR BIDS AND
DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL aP TIE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the 5pecifications and
Provisions for furnishing two (2) new 1950 model, coupe automobiles to the City of
Alameda, for the Building Department, No, MZ 1-5002, filed in the office of the City
Clerk on January 3, 1950, be, and the same are hereby, approved and adopted,
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda '10 receive
sealed bids up to fne bnur of 9:05 e,clock P. M.. cn Tuesday, January 17, 1950, for
the furnishing to the City cf two (2) new 1950 model, coupe automobiles, in accord-
ance with said Specificatiorls and Provisione. Bids must be presented to the City
Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked
on the outside., "Proposal for two (2) coupe automobiles,' or similar designation-
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest anh best bih-
The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star,
a notice calling for ''r. 00 bldh in accordance with the provisione of this resolu-
tion and of said Specifications and Provisions.
