APPOINTING MEMBER OF TILE LIBRARY BOARD.
RESOLVED BY TEE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that, pursuant to the
provisions of Article X of the Charter of the City of Alameda, and upon nomination
of the Mayor, William T. Johns is hereby appointed to the office of member of the
Library Board of the City of Alameda for a tern commencing on July 1, 1050, and
expiring on June 30, 1955, and until his successor is appointed and is qualified,

the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 7th day of June, 1950, by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Anderson, Jones, Osborn, Sweeney and President
Branscheid, (5).
