ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING FILL FOR
CITY NURSERY TC THE CITY OF ALAMaDA, CALLING FOR
BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THY CITY CT' ALAMEDA that the Specifications and
Provisions for furnishing fill for City Nursery to the City of Alameda, No. MS 8-50-14
filed in the office of the CSty Clerk on August 15, 1950, be, and the same are
hereby, approved. and adopted,
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of G:05 o'clock P. M. cn Tueday, September 5, 1950, for
the furnishing to the City of fill for the City Nursery, in accordance with said
Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the
City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked cn the outside
"Proposal for Pill for City Nur:lery," or similar designation.
Contract, If awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid.
The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star,
a notice calling for sealed bids In accordance with the provisions of this resolu-
tion and of said Specifications and Provisions.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in rogula
mooting assembled on the 15th day of August, 1950, by the following vote, to-wit:
AYES: Councilmen Anderson, Jones, Osborn, Sweeney and President
Branscheid, (5).
NOES: None,
ABSENT: None.
