ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING ONE 33
LATEST MODEL 2-TON CAB AND CHASSIS AND 3-N0ZZLE,
NET STREET FLUSHER WITH 1000-GALLO8 TANK
CAPACITY, TO THE CITY OE AIAMEDA, CALLINa FOR
BIDS AND DIRECTING THE CITY 00194 TO ADVERTISE
SAME.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALANEDA that the Specifications
and Provisions for furnishing:
Item 1 - One new, 'latest model 2-ton cab and chassis;
Item 2 - 3-nozzle, new, street flusher with 1000-gallon tank
capacity, mounted on cab and chassis supplied under
Item 1;
Item 3 - 3-nozzle, new, street flusher with 1000-gallon tank
capacity, mounted. on a 2-ton nab and chassis;
to the City of Alameda, No. MS 8-50-15, filed in the office of the City Clerk on
August 15, 1950, be, and the same are hereby, approved and adopted-
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 6:05 o'clock P. M., on Tuesday, September 5, 1950,
for the furnishing to the City of:
Item 1 - One new, latest model 2-ton cab and chassis;
item 2 - 5-nozzle, new, street flusher with 1000-gallon tank
capacity, mounted on cab and chassis supplied under
Item 1;
Item 3 - 3-nozzle, new, street flusher with 1000-gallon tank
caracity, mounted on a 2-ton cab and chassis;
in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to
the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and
plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for 3-nozzle street flusher mounted on
2-ton cab and chassis", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best
bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Time.
Star, a notice calling for sealed, bids in accordance with the provisions of this
resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions.

I, the undersigned, hereoy certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 15th day of Aur.ust, 1950, by the following
vote, to-wit:
AYES: Councilnen Anderson, Jones, Osborn, Sweeney and President
Branscheld, (5).
