RESOLUTION NO. 4237
ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING- THREE (3)
FREQUENCY MODULATED MOBILE RADIO UNITS IN 152-162
M. 2, BAND, TO TEE CITY CF ALAMNDA, _FOR THE POLICE
DEPARTMENT, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY
CIERK TO ADVERTISE SAM,
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAVEDA that the Specifications and
Provisions for furnishing three(3) frequency modulated mobile radio units in 152-162
m. c, band, to the City of Alameda, for the Police Department, No, MS 9-50-16, filed
in the office of the City Clerk on August 15, 1950, be, and the same are hereby,
approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
seaied bids up to the hour cf 805 o'clock P. M. on Tuesday, September 5, 1950, for
the furnishing to the City of three (3) frequency modulated mobile radio units in
152-162 m. c. band, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids
must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under
sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for Frequency Modulated
Mobile Radio Units," or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisiona of the
Charter of said City, to the responaible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid.
The right Ls reserved to reject any or all bide.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Timas-Star,
a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this resolu-
tion and of said Specifications and Provisions.

T, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 15th day of August, 1950, by the following
vote, to-wit:
AYES: Councilmen Anderson, Jones, Osborn, Sweeney and President
flranscheid, (5),

ABSENT: None,
