Resolution 04254394 1E5011EION NO. 4254 CANCELLING CITY TAXES ON PROZERTY ACQUIRED BY 'TEE CT= OF ATAMEDA FOR MUNICIPAL, PURPOSES._ WEEREAS, the following described real property, situated in the City of Alameda, County of Alameda, State of California, to-wit: Parcel 4, Assessor's Block 165, Eolith line of Lincoln Aivenue 150 feet Westerly from Oak Street, Westerly 31 feet by Southerly 207.67 feet (1950-51 fax bill No. 4670), has beer assessed heretofore for City purposes for the fiscal year 1950-1951, and taxes levied thereon. In the sum of 524.51 are uncollected and unpaid; and WHEREAS, after the time said taxes became a lien on said real property, to-wit, on October 9, 1950, said real property vs'- acquired for municipal purposes by the City of Alameda, a municipal corporation, by Final Judgment in Condemnation in. a certain action in the Superior Court of the State of California, in and for the County of Alameda, entitled, Eity of Alameda, a munioipal corporation, Plaintiff, to Hobert 's Homes, Inc., a corporation, et al, Defendants, Action Ne 2277877 that aaic' Final Judgment In Condemnation was filed ard entered on October 9, 1950, in Judgment Book 37,3, at page 620, in the office cf the County Clerk of the County of Alameda, State of Califionrta, and ever since has been, and now is, owned by the City of Ala- meda, and has been and now is bein used for public purposes, and because of such puhlic ownership is not subject to sale for delinquent taxes; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BE- THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA, with the written consent of the City Attorney attached hereto, that all uncollected taxes charzed or levied for city purposes upon the aforesaid real property, too" with penalties and costs thereon, be, and the same are hereby, cancelled, and the Auditor and. Tax Collector of the City. of Alwmeda are hereby authorized and directed to can- cel the same on their respective books.
