WHEREAS, public interest and necessity require the extension of tno storm
water lines on Liberty Avenue easterly of Garfield Avenue extension; and
bEETIMAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Previsions
and P1ans for said work, which are numbered. PW 10-50-35;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF 11-75 CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the aforesaid. Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and file.d as
aforesaid, be and the same are hereby, approved. and adopted.
RNRCINED, NERTHER, that the performance and completion of the work speci-
fied in said Specifications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby, authorized.
REF:OLSEN, FERNIER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 9:05 o'clock P. Y. on Tuesday, November 21, 1250, for
the furnishing to the City of Alameda of all labor, materials, methods and processes
nplements, tools and macbinery, except as otherwise specified, necessary for the
work hereinabove referred to, in abcordanbe with said Specifications and Provisions.
Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Nall, in Alameda, Cald.fornia,
under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside "Proposal for Extension of the
Liberty Avenue Storm Sewer", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to tho provisions of the
Charter of the City of Alameda, to 1-' responolble binder who submits the lowest
and best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder
on apolloatin to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alanoda,
California.
Tke City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, 1 the Alameda Times-Star,
a notice calling for sealed bids, 1 accordance with. the provisions of this resolu-
tion and of said. Specifications and Provisions.
