RESOLUTION NO. 4343
ACCEPTING GRANT OF EASEMENT FROM GORDON A. PRITCHETT
AM. ADA IV. PRITCHETT, HIS WIFE, IN CERTAIN REAL ,
PROPERTY, FOR SEWER PURPOSES, AND CONSENTING TO THE
RECORDATION THEREOF.
WHEREAS, a certain indenture dated the 28th day of March, 1951, made by
and between Gordon A. Pritchett and Ada W. Pritchett, his wife, as parties of the
first part, and City of Alameda, a municipal corporation, as party of the second
part, was, on or about said date, executed and delivered by said parties of the
first part to the City of Alameda; and
WHEREAS, by said indenture, the grantors therein named granted to the
City of Alameda a permanent easement and right of way to, at any time, or from time
to time, construct, maintain, operate, replace, remove and renew underground sani-
tary sewers and/or drains in, through, under and alorg that piece, strip or parcel
of land situated in the City of Alameda, County of Alameda, State of California,
and more particularly described in said indenture; and
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda did, on thn 3d day of April, 1951, accept
said easement in the said real property;
NOIN, THEREFORE, BE IT HSSOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THECInr OF ALA'1VTEDA that
the aforementioned indenture be, and the same is hereby, accepted on behalf of the
City of Alameda, and said City Council, acting for and in behalf of said City,
hereby consents to the recordation of said indenture and orders this resolution to
be attached thereto, as required by Section 27281 of the Government Code of the
State of California.
1, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 3rd day of April, 1051, by the following vote,
to -wit:
AYES: Counallnen Anderson, Jones, Osborn, Sweeney and President
Branscheid, (5).
