MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL JOINT CITY COUNCIL AND
SOCIAL SERVICE HUMAN RELATIONS BOARD MEETING

Service Human Relations Board was convened at 7:10 p.m.

The Social Service Human Relations Board presented information on
the following: 1998 Accomplishments; Work Group Reports; Alamedans
Together Against Hate: Community Forum; Community Assessment and
Awareness: Faith Survey; Smart Healthy Babies: Community
Assessment; Presentation of Hate-Crime Response Team
Recommendations; 1999 Work Program; Community Development Block
Grant Public Service Recommendations; Community Services Plan;
Televised Monthly Speakers; Continue Work Group Efforts; Overall
Goals; Alamedans Together Against Hate; Community Assessment and
Awareness; Smart Healthy Babies; Budget Overview.
Adjournment
There being no further business, Mayor Appezzato adjourned the
Special Joint Meeting at 8:59 p.m.
