MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
THURSDAY- -JUNE 4, 1998- -7:00 P.M.
Mayor Appezzato convened the Special Meeting [Work Session] of the
City Council at 7:15 p.m.
ROLL CALL - PRESENT: Councilmembers Daysog, DeWitt, Kerr,
Lucas and Mayor Appezzato - 5.
ABSENT: None.
(98-324A) Work Session to consider the City Two-Year Financial Plan
for Fiscal Years 1998-99, 1999-2000.
Precedii Council discussion on the two-year Financial Plan, Mayor
Appezzato accepted public comments.
The following speakers spoke in favor of allocating funds to the
Planning Department to complete Design Review Guidelines:
Scott Brady, Alameda,
Diane Coler-Dark, Alameda,
Don Patterson, Alameda, and
Chris Buckley, Alameda Architectural Preservation Society.
The following speakers commented on City staff positions and permit
procedures:
Bill Garvine, Alameda, and
Gerhard Degemann, Alameda.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business before the City Council, Mayor
Appezzato adjourned the meeting at 8:42 p.m.
