Mayor Appezzato convened the Special Council Meeting at 1:30 p.m.
ROLL CALL:
PRESENT: Councilmembers Daysog, Kerr, Lucas,
Vice Mayor DeWitt, and Mayor
Appezzato - 5.
[Note: Councilmember Lucas arrived
at 1:31 p.m.]
ABSENT: None.
(97-540) Report from Deputy City Manager, Alameda Point,
recommending an extension with modifications of the Cooperative
Agreement between the City and the United States Navy for a term
from October 1, 1997 through September 30, 1998 and authorization
for the City Manager to negotiate and execute modifications to the
Cooperative Agreement.
The City Manager provided an overview of the modification of the
agreement, and thanked the Deputy City Manager, Alameda Point, for
negotiating amendments which secured non-expended funds.
Vice Mayor DeWitt moved Council authorize the City Manager to
negotiate and execute an extension of the Cooperative Agreement.
Councilmember Lucas seconded the motion which carried by unanimous
voice vote - 5.
There being no further business before the Council, Mayor Appezzato
adjourned the Special Meeting at 1:35 p.m.
