(Joint Meeting with the Alameda Reuse and Redevelopment Authority)
The meeting convened at 5:39 p.m. with Acting President Mannix
presiding.
ROLL CALL - PRESENT: Councilmembers Arnerich, DeWitt, and Vice
Mayor Mannix - 3.
ABSENT: Councilmember Lucas and President
Appezzato - 2.
3-A (96-197) Report from the Executive Director of the Alameda
Reuse and Redevelopment Authority Recommending that a Joint Letter
Be Sent from ARRA and the City of Alameda Requesting the Secretary
of the Navy to Convey the FISC Alameda Property-Under the S2834(b)
Authority of the 1995 Defense Authorization Act Allowing a No-cost
conveyance of the Property.
William McCall, former Alameda Mayor, discussed matters relating to
the Officers' Club and Old Alamedan Day.
In response to Mr. McCall, Acting President Mannix stated that
those issues had been previously addressed.
Councilman Arnerich moved acceptance of the report.
Councilmember DeWitt seconded the motion, which carried by
unanimous voice vote - 3 (Absent: Lucas and Appezzato - 2).
Adjournment
The meeting was adjourned at 6:00 p.m.
