AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A DEED
TRASFERRING A PARCEL OF LAD UNDERLYING THE
FORMER FRAKLIN SCHOOL SITE TO THE
ALAEDA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
WHEREAS , the City of Alameda and the Alameda Unified SchoolDistrict of Alameda County, State of California reached an
agreement to clear title on the site described herein and all as
more particularly set out in the Compromise Contract authorized byResolution No. 8505, adopted April 6, 1976; and
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ALAEDA that:
section 1 . That the City of Alameda transfer unto the Alameda
Unified School District , all that certain real property situated in
the City of Alameda , County of Alameda, State of California, and
more particularly described as follows:
Franklin School (AP 72-335-1-3)
All of the southern 145 feet of Lot 15 and the western 25feet of the southern 145 feet of Lot 16, Block "I" as
shown on the "MAP of Oak Park , Encinal of Alameda,
Alameda Co., Cal., 1876", filed October 28 , 1876 in Book
1 of Maps , page 103, in the Office of the Alameda County
Recorder.
section 2 That the Mayor of the City of Alameda is hereby
authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of
Alameda , a quitclaim deed , or deeds , conveying said real property
to the Alameda Unified School District, and the City Clerk is
directed to attest to the same.
Section 3 This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date of
its final passage.

Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 7th day of,July , 1992, by the following vote to wit:
