SUBSECTION 18-1.1 (DEPOSIT OF GLASS , ETC., IN SEWER
PROHIBITED) AND REPEALING SUBSECTION 18-1.2 (DISCHAGE OF
DYES , ETC.INTO SEWER PROHIBITED) OF SECTION 18-1
(GENERAL PROVISIONS),. ARTICLE I (SEWERS), OF CHAPTERXVIII, (SEWER AND WATER), THEREOF, PERTAINING TO WASTE
WATER CONTROL
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Alamedathat:
section The Alameda Municipal Code is here hereby
amended by amending subsection 18-1.1 (Deposit of Glass , Etc., in
Sewer Prohibited), of Section 18-1 (General Provisions), Article I(Sewers), Chapter XVIII (Sewer and Water), to read as follows:
18-1. 1 prohibi tion of Discharges into Sewer
No person shall cause or permit to be caused anydischarge, whether liquid or solid into any pipe , cleanout
manhole , pumping station , or other appurtenance which conveys
sani tary sewage , except those discharges which are allowed by the
most recent adoption of the Wastewater Control Ordinance (OrdinanceNo. 311) of the East Bay Municipal Utility District.
Section 2 The Alameda Municipal Code j s hereby amenced
by repealing subsection 18-1.2 (Discharge of Dyes , Etc., Into Sewer
Prohibited), of section 18-1 (General Provisions), Article I
(Sewers), Chapter XVIII in its entirety.

effect from and after the expiration of thirty
date of its final passage.
