AMENDING THE ALAMEDA MUNICIPAL CODE AMENDING SUBSECTION 3-1.1; REPEALING
SUBSECTIONS 3-1.2 AND 3-1.3; AND RENUMBERING3-1.4 TO 3-1. 2 OF SECTION 3-1 , CHAPTER III
(FINANCE AND TAXATION), THEREOF , PERTAINING TO
DEMANDS AGAINST CITY

BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Alameda
Section 1 . The Alameda Municipal Code is hereby amended
by amending subsection 3-1.1 (Necessity for Demands to be Presented
for Approval) of Chapter III (Finance and Taxation) to read asfollows:
3-1 DEMANDS AGAINST CITY.
3-1. 1 Necessi ty for Demands PresentedApproval.
The City Council reviews and approves annualappropriations of City funds. Monthly, the Finance Director shall
render to the City Council a list of all payments made for goodsand services.
Section 2 The Alameda Municipal Code is hereby amended
by repealing subsections -1. 2 (Form , Verification and Filing of
Demands) and 3 -1.(Manner of Voting on Demands) of Chapter III(Finance and Taxation).
Section The Alaffeda Municipal Code is hereby amended
by renumbering subsection 1 3. 4; henceforth to be numbered 1-3.
Section 4 This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after the expiration of thirty (30) from thedate of its final passage.
