NDING THE ALAMEDA MUNICIPAL CODE BY AMENDING
SUBSECTION 18-3.7 (C) (FEES FOR CONNECTING SEWERS) OF
SECTION 18-3 (CONNECTIONS), AND SUBSECTIONS 18-4.(A)(B) and (C) (CHARGES IMPOSED), OF SECTION 18-4 (SEWER
SERVICE CHARGE), A RTICLE I (SEWERS), CHAPTER XVIII
(SEWER AND WATER), SETTING SEWER FEES BY CITY OF ALAMEDA
RESOLUTION
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Alamedathat:
section 1 The Alameda Municipal Code is hereby amended
by amending subsection 18-3.7 (c) (Fees for Connecting Sewers) ofsection 18-3 (connections), Article I (Sewers), Chapter XVIII
(Sewer and Water), thereof to read:
18-3.Fees for Connecting Sewers.
(c) Fees. Fees shall be charged in accordance with the
fee schedule set by City Council resolution , per plumbing fixture
uni t, as set out in paragraph b. 1 of this subsection , discharging
waste into the City sewerage system but in no case will the fee be
less than the minimum fee of five hundred ($500.00) dollars.
section 2 The Alameda Municipal Code is hereby amended
by amending subsection 18-4.3 (a), (b) and (c) (Charges Imposed),
of section 18-4 (Sewer Service Charge), Article I (Sewers), ChapterXVIII (Sewer and Water), thereof to read:
18-4.3 Charges Imposed.a. Single family dwelling units shall pay a per unit
monthly charge in accordance with the fee schedule set by CityCouncil resolution.b. Multiple dwelling units shall pay a per unit monthly
charge in accordance with the fee schedule set by City Councilresolution.c. All non-residential accounts including but not
limited to commercial, institutional and industrial users shall pay
a use charge in accordance with the fee schedule set by City
Council resolution. In no case shall the total annual charge for
each account be less than the charge for a multiple dwelling unit.
section 3 This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the
date of its final passage.
