AMENDING THE ALAMEDA MUNICIPAL CODE BY AMENDING
SECTION 8-29 , TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT
(TSM), TO MODIFY TIME OF COMPLIANCE FOR REGISTRATION
AND EMPLOYEE TRANSPORTATION COORDINATOR (ETC)
TRAINING
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Alameda that:
section The Alameda Municipal Code is hereby amended by
amending subsection 8-29.10 (b) (Employee TransportationCoordinator (ETC)) of sect ion 8-29 (Transportation Systems
Management (TSM)) of Chapter VIII (Traffic and Motor Vehicles),
thereof to read:
8-29.10 Employee Transportation Coordinator (ETC).
b. ETCs must complete a TSM Committee training curriculumwithin three (J) months of notification by the City of approved
training curriculum availability, or within three (3) months of
appointment when appointed after the training is available.
section The Alameda Municipal Code is hereby amended by
amending subsection 8-29.12 (d) (1) (Registration Requirement) ofsection 8-29 (Transportation Systems Management (TSM)) of ChapterVIII (Traff ic and Motor Vehicles), thereof to read:
8-29.12 Registration Requirement
d. Employers and Centers are requ ired to reg ister with the
TSM Committee as follows:
Employers and Centers who become subject to this
section on the effective date shall register with
the City by January 31 , 1995. Employers and
Centers who become subj ect to this section subse-
quent to the effective date , due to an increase inemployees or the establ ishment of a new or expandedworksite, shall register with the City withinninety (90) days of becoming subj ect to thissection.
section This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the
date of its final passage.
