AMENDING THE ALEDA MUNICIPAL CODE BY AMENDINGSUBSECTION 2-9.4 (a) (COMMISSION POWERS DUTIES) OFSECTION 2-9 (CITY GOLF COMMISSION), CHAPTER II(ADMINISTRATION), THEREOF, REFLECTING NEW MAAGEMENT
ORGANIZATION AT GOLF COMPLEX
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Alameda that:
Section The Alameda Municipal Code is hereby amended byamending subsection 2-4 (a) (Commission Powers, Duties) of Section
2-9 (City Golf Commission), Chapter II (Administration), thereof,to ,read:
2 - 9.4 Commission Powers , Duties.
The Golf Commission shall have the power and it shall be itsduties to:a. Advise the City Council on all matters concerningoperational policies of the Alameda Municipal Golf Courses and such
other golf facilities as may be established by or under control of
the City, and to hold hearings, investigate and do all other things
necessary to inform itself with respect to the promotion andsuccessfoperation of the Courses or facilities. In thisconnection, it (the Commission) may consult and discuss with, andadvise, the Golf Course General Manager respecting courseoperations and operational policies, subj ect to administrative
duties of the City Manager as set forth in Charter Section 7-2 (I) .
Section 2 This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date ofits final passage.
