2267-2499 LINCOLN AVENU AN DECREASING THE BOUNARY
THROUGH ELIMINATION OF THE 1600 BLOCK OF EVERETT STREET IN
THE ALAMDA BUSINSS IMROVEMENT ARA IN FISCAL YEAR 2000-
BE IT ORDAID by the City Council of the City of Alameda that:
Section 1 . This Ordinance is adopted pursuant to the authority granted to the City Council
by Alameda Muncipal Code 16 which provides that geographic boundaries and benefit areas
of the Alameda Business Improvement Area ofthe City of Alameda may be modified by the City
Council.
Section 2 . Section 6-2 (Area Established; Description) of the Alameda Municipal Code
is hereby amended by the filing of new Exhbits A and C with the City Clerk which change Benefit
Area "A" to "B" in address ranges 1200-1251 Park Street and 2267-2499 Lincoln Avenue and
decrease the boufldary by the elimination .of the 1600 block of Everett Street from the Business
Improvement Area.
Section 3 . The City Council adopted its Resolution of Intention (Resolution No. 4-F CC)
to modify the benefit areas and decrease the boundar ofthe Alameda Business Improvement Area
of the City of Alanleda on May 16 , 2000 as required by Alameda Muncipal Code 7. 17(b). The
City Council held a public hearing on June 6 , 2000 to consider the adoption of this OrdinanceNo. as required by Alameda Municipal Code 17(b). Notice of the public hearng was
published and mailed to each owner of a business affected by the modification made by this
ordinance.
Section 4 . This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the expiration of
thirt (30) days from the date of its final passage.
