(P ARG LOTS) OF CHAPTER XII (DESIGNATED PARG),
THEREOF , AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO DESIGNATE
USE OF CITY EMPLOYEE LOTS A PUBLIC PARG DURG NON-
BUSINSS HOURS
BE IT ORDAID by the City Council of the City of Alameda that:
Section 1 . The Alameda Municipal Code is hereby amended by adding subsection
12-18 (Use of City Employee Lots as Public Parking Durng Non-Business Hours) to
Aricle I, (Parking Lots) of Chapter XII (Designated Parking) thereofto.read:
12-Use of City Employee Lots as Public Parking During Non-
Business Hours.
Any parking lot owned or leased by the City for purose of employee parking may
be designated as a public parking lot durng non-business hours by the City Manager. Any
such parking lot shall have its hours of operation along with any restrictions on public use
posted in a visible location withn the parking lot. Such designation may be for a temporary
period and shall be revocable at the discretion of the City Manager.
Section 2 . This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the
expiration ofthirt (30) days from the date of its final passage.
