AMENDING THE ALAMEDA MUCIPAL CODE BY AMENDING
SUBSECTION 8-.4 (OFFICIAL VEHICLES DESIGNATED ARAS) OF
SECTION 8-8 (GENERA PARG REGULATIONS) OF CHATER VIII
(TRAFIC AN MOTOR VEHICLES) RELATING TO PARG SPACES
ON CENTRA AVENU AT HISTORIC ALAMEDA HIGH SCHOOL
BE IT ORDAID by the Council of the City of Alameda that:
Section 1 " The Alameda Muncipal Code is hereby amended by amending subsection 8-8.4
(Offcial Vehicles Designated Areas) of Section 8-8 (General Parking Regulations) of Chapter VIII
(Traffic and Motor Vehicles) thereof to read:
8.4 Official Vehicles Designated Areas.
It shall be unlawful for any person to stop, park , or leave standing, any vehicle, except
offcial City of Alameda vehicles and offcial vehicles ftom other governental jursdictions
in any area designated by appropriate signing and mentioned in the paragraphs .of this
subsection.
Lincoln Avenue Commencing at apoint in the south curb line of Lincoln
Avenue thirteen (13') feet westerly ftom the west line of
Oak Street. and running thence westerly two hundred
seventy-six (276') feet.
Oak Street Commencing at a point in the west curb line of Oak Street
one hundred forty-seven (147') feet southerly ftom the
south line of Lincoln Avenue and running thence
southerly sixty-two (62') feet.
Central Avenue Commencing at a point in the south curb line of Central
Avenue approximately two hundred and twenty-six feet
(226') easterly of the east line of Walnut Street and
running thence easterly twenty four (24'feet; and
commencing at a point in the south curb line of Central
A venue approximately four hundred and ninety four
(494') feet easterly of the east line of Walnut Street and
running thence easterly twenty five (25') feet.
Section 2.This ordinance shall be in full force and effect ftom and after the
expiration of thirty (30) days from the date of its final passage.
