ELIMINATING THE EXISTING TIM LIMIT ON INCURING DEBT
FOR THE COMMTY IMROVEMENT PLAN
FOR THE WEST END
COMMITY IMROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Alameda (the "City Council"
adopte Ordinance No. 2141 on July 5 , 1983, approving and adopting the Communty
Imvement Plan (the "Communty Improvement Plan ) for the West End Communty
Improvement Project (the "Project"); and
WHREAS, the City Council amended the Communty Improvement Plan by Ordice No. 2222 , adopted on Januar 2, 1985 and Ordinance . No. 2682 , adopted onDecer 6, 1994; and
WHREAS, Section Vm.B of the Communty Improvement Plan for the Project
provides that

WHREAS, the Communty Improvement Commssion of the City of Alamed
(th "Commssion ), has been designated as the offcial redevelopment agency in theCi of Alameda to car out the fuctions and requiements of the Communty
Redelopment Law of the State of Californa (Heath and Safety Code Section 33000 et
seq.) an to implement the Communty Improvement Pla1; and
WHREAS, Section 33333.6 of the Communty Redevelopment Law, asamen by SB 211 which took .effect on Janua 1 , 2002 , authorizes redevelopment.

NOW , THREFORE , THE CITY COUNCIL OF TH CITY OF ALAMDA
CALORN, DOES HEREBY ORDAI AS FOLLOWS:
Section The Communty Improvement Plan for the West End Communty
Improvement Project is hereby amended to elimate the time limt on the establishment
ofloa, advances, and indebtedness established by Ordinance No. 2141.
Section 2.Ordinance Nos. 2141 , 2222 and 2682 are continued in full force and
effec as amended by this Ordinance.
