AMENDING THE ALAMEDA MUCIPAL CODE BY AMNDINGSUBSECTION (b) OF SUBSECTION 30-6.15 (SIGNS EXEMPT) OF
SECTION 30-(SIGN REGULATIONS) OF CHAPTER
(DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS) RELATING TO BENCH SIGNS
BE IT ORDAID by the Council of the City of Alameda that:
Section 1 . The Alameda Muncipal Code is hereby amended by amending section
(b) of Subsection 30-15 (Signs Exempt) of Section 30-6 (Sign Regulations) of ChapterXX (Development Regulations) thereof to read:
30-Signs Exempt
Bench Signs at Public Transit Bus Stops.
1. Bench signs located on benches at designated public transit bus
stops.
2. Signs located on tranit shelter enclosures at designated public
transit bus stops that have been approved by the City Council
pursuant to a resolution establishing a Bus Shelter Master Plan
process.
Section 2 . This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the
expiration ofthirty (30) days from the date of its final passage.
