APPROVING AN AUTHORIING THE EXECUTION OF A LEASE
FOR REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1435 WEBSTER STREET
(PARG LOT D)
WHEREAS , Geoffrey A. Farrar, Krstina A. Farrar Trust II , Charles A.
Begley and Dorothy Crane McKee , (herein called "Lessor ) own certain real property
located at 1435 Webster Street in Alameda, California (herein "real property ); and
WHEREAS, the real property has been utilized by the City as a municipal
parking lot for the West End Business District; and
WHEREAS , both the City and the Business District desires that the
provision of this parking facilty be continued; and
WHEREAS , the Lessor desires to directly lease the real property to the
City of Alameda on the terms and conditions set forth in the lease on file in the Office of
the City Clerk.
WHEREAS , the City of Alameda desires to enter into such lease.
No-W, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAIND BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ALAMEDA a8 follows:
Section 1 . The City Council hereby approves execution of the Lease
between the City of Alameda and Geoffrey A. Farrar, Krstina A. Farar Trust II, Charles
A. Begley and Dorothy Crane McKee , as Lessor.
Section 2.That the form of Lease referred to in the above , and the terms
conditions and covenants contained therein are hereby approved.
Section 3.That the City Manager of the City of Alameda be , and is
hereby authorized to execute , for an on behalf of the city of Alameda, the Lease
substantially in the form and containing the terms and conditions and covenants as set out
in the Lease on fie in the Offce of the City Clerk.
Section 4 . Ths ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
expiration of thirt (30) days from the Idate ofc . ts final passage.
