City of Alameda CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATOR Agency Negotiator: Personnel Director. Employee Organization(s): Alameda Management and Confidential Employees Association; Appointed and Unrepresented Positions (City Manager, City Attorney, City Clerk, Assistant City Manager, Personnel Director and Chief of Police); International Association of Firefighters, Local #689 - IAFF; United Public Employees Association, 1790 (Police Technicians) - SEIU; and Alameda City Employees Association. Council recessed at 8:30 p.m. and reconvened at 9:40 p.m. Special Meeting, Alameda City Council (Closed Session) October 9, 1995 3 - 9 Announcement of Action Taken in Closed Session: Following the Closed Session, the Special Meeting was reconvened and President Appezzato announced that concerning 1) Conference with Legal Counsel - Anticipated Litigation, Council discussed initiation of litigation on 2 cases, obtained briefing and gave instructions to the City Attorney; 2) Conference with Legal Counsel - Existing Litigation, Council gave instructions to the City Attorney; and 3) Conference with Labor Negotiator, Council obtained briefing and gave directions to the City's Labor Negotiator.
