MINUTES OF WORK SESSION
ALAMEDA CITY COUNCIL
FEBRUARY 7, 1994
The Work Session convened at 10:00 a.m. in Room 316.
ROLL CALL:
Present: Councilmembers Appezzato, Arnerich,
Lucas, Roth, and President Withrow - 5.
The purpose of the Work Session was to meet with a delegation from
Guam to discuss activities related to military facilities
conversion.
The guest list included: Governor Joseph A. Ada (tentative
participant); Mr. Tyrone Taitano, Chief of Staff, Office of the
Speaker; Senator Pilar C. Lujan; Senator Francis E. Santos; Mr.
Mike Cruz (Director, Bureau of Planning, NAS Agana); Mr. Leland
Bettis, Executive Director, Guam Commission on Self-Determination;
Mr. Joaquin Perez, Staff to Senator Santos; Mr. Dan Tydingco, Staff
to Senator Lujan; Mr. Pedro Leon Guerrero, General Manager, Guam
Port Authority; and Mr. Mark Forbes, Director of Policy Office of
Governor.
ADJOURNMENT
President Withrow adjourned the Work Session at 11:00 a.m.
