APRIL 19. 1994
The meeting convened at 7:35 p.m. with President Withrow presiding.
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Councilmember Appezzato.
Reverend Michael Cunningham, St. Philip Neri Church, gave the
invocation.

Present: Councilmembers Appezzato, Arnerich,
Lucas, Roth and President Withrow - 5.
Absent: None.
PROCLAMATIONS AND SPECIAL ORDERS OF THE DAY
94-192 Proclamation declaring April 28, 1994, as Take Our
Daughters To Work Day in the City of Alameda.
Mayor Withrow read the proclamation.
CONSENT CALENDAR
Mayor Withrow announced that report 94-206 concerning AB2414, and
resolution 94-207 to support AB3159 regarding vehicle license fees,
were removed from the Consent Calendar for discussion by citizens
and Councilmembers.
Councilmember Lucas moved approval of the remainder of the Consent
Calendar. Vice Mayor Roth seconded the motion which carried by
unanimous voice vote - 5.

*94-193 Minutes of the Regular Council Meeting of April 5, and
the Special Council Meetings of March 17 (2), and April 5, 1994.
Approved.
*94-194 Report from City Clerk requesting authorization to call
for bids for Legal Advertising for Fiscal Year 1994-95. Accepted.
*94-195 Report from Public Works Director recommending adoption
of Specifications and calling for bids for Pruning of City Street
Trees in Various Locations in the City of Alameda for the Fiscal
Year Ending June 30, 1995, No. P.W. 03-94-05. Accepted.
*94-196 Report from Public Works Director recommending Council to
award purchase of a Combination Catch Basin/Sewer Cleaning Machine.
Accepted.
*94-197 Report from Housing Authority Director recommending
Regular Meeting, Alameda City Council
