TO ADVERTISE aLmE.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF IRE CITY OF ALAREDA that the Specifications
and Provisions for furnishing to the City of Alameda 39 single pendent type liptting
standardo with luminaires, No. MS 2-56-5, filed. In the office of the City.- Clerk on
February 21, 1956, he, and the some are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids ur to the hour of .6 05 o'rlock P. M. on. Tuesday March. 5 1956, for the
furnishing to the City/ of said lighting standards, in accordance with.. said
Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented. to the City. Clerk, n the City
Nall, Alameda, CalTfornia, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside,
"Proposal f 39 Pendent Type fighting Standards", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder whc submits the lowest and best bid.
The right is reserved to reject any br all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed. to adve in. the Alameda Time
a notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this
resolution and of said Specifications and Provisionc.
