MINUTES OF WORK SESSION OF THE ALAMEDA CITY COUNCIL
October 19, 1991
The meeting convened at 9:45 a.m.
ROLL CALL - Present: Councilmembers Camicia, Lucas, Roth, and
President Withrow - 4.
Absent: Councilman Arnerich - 1.
AGENDA
The purpose of the Work Session was to view new City parks and
selected other facilities.
The program included boarding a shuttle bus at City Hall Parking Lot
for Towata Park and a view of the pathway on the north side of the
Doolittle landfill; viewing Tillman Park, Harrington Park, Shoreline
Park; departing Harbor Bay Isle Ferry for Alameda/Oakland Ferry
Terminal; re-boarding shuttle bus and driving down Main Street
viewing the new naval housing and hearing plans for improvements along
Main Street; hearing park plans for Atlantic Avenue between Main
Street and Webster Street; driving past Independence Plaza and to
Neptune Park; and returning to City Hall.
ADJOURNMENT
At the conclusion of the Work Session, the meeting was adjourned by
President Withrow.
