ADJOURNED SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
CITY OF ALAMEDA
AUGUST 9, 1988
The meeting convened at 6:06 p.m. with President Corica presiding.
ROLL CALL
Present: Councilmembers Camicia, Haugner, Monsef , Thomas and
President Corica - 5.
Absent: None.
88-525 At the request of Mr. Rob Wonder, Interim City Manager, a
letter from him addressed to the City Council, dated August 9, 1988,
was read aloud by the Mayor. Mr. Wonder's statement respectfully
requested that his name be withdrawn from consideration for the
position of City Manager. The letter also stated that he will
continue to serve as Interim City Manager until a new City Manager is
hired, and at that point he would return to the position of Assistant
City Manager.
President Corica then adjourned the meeting to Closed Session to
consider the appointment of a City Manager. At 6:30 p.m., the
President reconvened the meeting and announced that the Council will
hold a Special Council Meeting on Thursday, 12:00 noon, August 11,
1988, at which time Council will again address the issue.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business before the Council, President Corica
adjourned the meeting.
