The meeting convened at 4:02 p.m. with President Corica
presiding.
ROLL CALL

Councilmembers Arnerich, Camicia, Withrow, and
President Corica - 4.
Councilmember Thomas - 1.
89 -511 President Corica adjourned the meeting to a Closed Session
to consider, Sebago v. City of Alameda, pursuant to Subsection
(a) of the legal counsel section of the Brown Act.
Following the Closed Session, President Corica announced that the
Council had decided against hiring additional attorneys to pursue
the Appeal, but is very interested in pursuing this issue on the
State level by changing legislation and taking advantage of the
organizations that have offered free legal support personnel who
are experts in the field as well as pursuing the quest for funds
to continue our efforts to keep this type of material from minors.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Council,
President Corica adjourned the meeting at 5:13 p.m.
