The meeting convened at 4:17 p.m. with President Corica
presiding.
ROLL CALL
Present: Councilmembers Arnerich, Camicia, Thomas, Withrow,
and President Corica - 5.
Absent: None.
89 -609 President Corica adjourned the meeting to a Closed Session
to consider:
a) Mitcheom v. City of Alameda, pursuant to Subsection (a) of
the legal counsel section of the Brown Act (Placed on the agenda
by a majority of the Council, pursuant to Section 2 -112 of the
Alameda Municipal Code.)
b) 1082 Pension Improvement Committee, pursuant to Subsection (a)
of the Government Code Section 54957.6 of the Brown Act.
Following the Closed Session, President Corica announced the
following:
89 -610 Regarding Mitcheom v. City of Alameda, Council retained
Bertrand, Fox, Elliot and Cohn as outside counsel.
89 -611 Regarding the 1082 Pension Improvement Committee, no action
was taken.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Council,
President Corica adjourned the meeting at 6:05 p.m.
