COUNCIL GE THE CITY OF

Section 1. That the City of Ala-
meda grant to East Bay Munich
Utility District, a public cor-
prmetion, an easement and right
way for the purpose of con-
structing and operating a pipe
line and necessary appurtenances.

COMMENCING at the inter-
section of the center lines of
Otis Drive, 55 feet in width, and
Court Street, 60 feet in width,
as said Drive and Street are
ahown on Drawing No, 4422,
Case 54, City Engineer's Files,
City of Alaninda, California,
said intersection having Coordi-
nates Ya_460,903.38 feet and
111--s1.497,141.00 feet based on the
California Coordinate System,
Zone III, as are all hearings,
distances and coordinates in
this description; -thence along
the said center line of Court
Street, North 42' 17 10" East,
40.00 feet to a point on the
northeasterly line of Otis Drive,
saicl point being the True Point
of Beginning; thence along last
said line. North 47' 17' 58" West,
3.50 feet to the southeasterly
line of the easement described
as Parcel "R" in the Deed to
East Bay Municipal Utility Dis-
trict from the City of Alameda,
recorded January 14, 1965, on
Reel 1413, image 416, Official
Records of Alameda County;
thence along last said line,
North 42' 17' 10" East 451.57
feet to the southwesterly line of
Calhoun. Street, GO fret in width,
as said Street is also shown en
the aforesaid drawing; thence
along last said line, South 47'
42' 13" Dash 8,50 feet to the said
center line of Court Street:

feet tu the True Point of Be-
ginning.
Section 2. The Mayor of the
City of Alameda be, and he is
1ereby, authorized to execute on
behalf of said City a grant of said
easement to said District, and the
City Clerk is directed to attest to
Section 3. This ordinance shall
be in Sul] force and effect from
and after the expiration of thirty
(30) days from the date of as
final passage.
