CITYOFALAMEDARESOLUTIONNO.14916 AUTHORIZETHECITYMANAGERTOSIGNACOOPERATIVEEAGREEMENTWITHTHEALAMEDA-CONTRACOSTATRANSIT ~DISTRICTDEVELOPMENTDEPARTMENTCONCERNING ,S IMPROVEMENTSFORLINE51COORIDOR VI l':I~E WHEREAS,theAlameda-ContraCostaTransitDistrict(ACTransit)purposesto ~IV makecertainimprovementsforitsLine51withintheCity;and'-Q..t IV WHEREAS,theCITYwillconductthereviewofACTransit'sdesigndocumentsand, ~ifconsistentwiththeCity'sstandardspecifications,incorporatethemintoanencroachment ...,permit;and WHEREAS,theCITYwillissueanencroachmentpermittoACTransitandits ContractortoperformtheworkwithintheCITY'sright-of-way,whichpermitwillspecifythe CITY'sfeesforallworkmentionedinthepreviousparagraph;and WHEREAS,ACTransitwillreimbursetheCITYforthestaffassistanceand oversightmentionedabovebypaymentfortheencroachmentpermit;and WHEREAS,theContractorwillpayencroachmentpermitfees;and WHEREAS,theCITYistomaintainallbusstopsinstalledaspartofthisproject exceptwheremaintenanceisprovidedbyanothermaintenanceprovider;and WHEREAS,theCityofAlameda(CITY)asastakeholdersupportsthe improvementsproposedbythisprojectintheCityofAlameda;and NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDthattheCityCounciloftheCityofAlameda herebyauthorizedtheCityManagertoenterintonegotiationsforaCooperativeAgreement withACTransitconcerningimprovementsforLine51corridor. ***** I,theundersigned,herebycertifythattheforegoingResolutionwasdulyand regularlyadoptedandpassedbytheCounciloftheCityofAlamedainaregularmeeting assembledonthe6th ofMay,2014,bythefollowingvotetowit: AYES:CouncilmembersChen,Daysog,EzzyAshcraft,Tamand MayorGilmore-5.
