CITYOFALAMEDARESOLUTIONNO.14917 AUTHORIZETHEUNDERARMOURLOGOANDSTEPHEN CURRYSIGNATUREONTHELEYDECKERPARKOUTDOOR BASKETBALLCOURT WHEREAS,theUnderArmourGiveBackprogram,inpartnershipwithGolden StateWarriorplayerStephenCurry,offeredacollaborationwiththeCityofAlamedato fullyfundtherehabilitationofthepublicoutdoorbasketballcourtatLeydeckerPark;and WHEREAS,theprojectprovidesmuchneededrenovationforthislightedrubasketballcourtthatisheavilyusedbythecommunity;and:za:: WHEREAS,thecollaborationwithUnderArmourtorehabilitatetheLeydecker <cParkbasketballcourtincludesstripinganUnderArmourlogoandStephenCurryi!:signatureontothebasketballcourt;and (3 WHEREAS,pursuanttothe2007CityCouncilpolicyfornamingCityproperty, '~~facilitiesandstreets,thisisallowableunderthecriteriaforanamethatrecognizesthe donorofasignificantgiftoffundsforaCityfacility;and WHEREAS,theRecreationandParkCommissionheardapresentationonthis donationandagreedthatitisappropriatetoincludepermanentstripingoftheUnder ArmourlogoandStephenCurrysignatureasawaytorecognizetheirdonationand improvementtoLeydeckerPark.
