CITYOFALAMEDARESOLUTIONNO.14918 CONFIRMINGTHEPARKSTREETBUSINESS IMPROVEMENTAREAREPORTFORFY2014-15AND LEVYINGANANNUALASSESSMENTONTHEPARK STREETBUSINESSIMPROVEMENTAREAOFTHECITYOF ALAMEDAFORFY2014-15 WHEREAS,Section6-7ofArticleIIofChapterVIoftheAlameda MunicipalCodeestablishestheAlamedaBusinessImprovementAreaoftheCity ofAlameda(hereinafterArea);and WHEREAS,theCityCounciloftheCityofAlamedadesirestocontinue saidAreainFY2014-15forthepurposesetforthinSection6-7.3oftheAlameda MunicipalCode;and WHEREAS,areporthasbeenfiledwiththeCityClerkdescribingthe surplusordeficitrevenuestobecarriedoverfromFY2013-14anddescribingthe improvementsandactivities,estimatedcostsandmethodsandbasisforlevying theassessmentforFY2014-15;and WHEREAS,theCityCouncilatitsregularmeetingofApril1,2014 adoptedaResolutionofIntentiontoLevyanAnnualAssessmentonthePark StreetBIAoftheCityofAlamedaforFY2014-15andtosetapublichearingfor suchaction;and WHEREAS,adulynoticedpublichearingregardingconfirmingthePark StreetBIAReportforFY2014-15andlevyinganannualassessmentforFY 2014-15washeldbytheCityCouncilonMay6,2014. NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDbytheCityCounciloftheCityof AlamedathattheParkStreetBIAreportforFY2014-15withanymodificationsas directedbytheCouncilfollowingtheclosureofthePublicHearing,ishereby confirmed;and BEITFURTHERRESOLVEDbytheCityCounciloftheCityofAlameda thatanassessmentfortheParkStreetBIAoftheCityofAlamedaforFY2014- 15isherebylevied. ****** I,theundersigned,herebycertifythattheforegoingresolutionwasduly andregularlyadoptedandpassedbytheCounciloftheCityofAlamedaina regularmeetingassembledonthe6th dayofMay,2014,bythefollowingvoteto wit: AYES:CouncilmembersDaysog,EzzyAshcraft,Tamand MayorGilmore-4.
