HELD FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 10, 1982
The meeting convened at 3:00 p.0. with President Corica presiding.
ROLL CALL: Present: Councilmen Diament, Stone, and President Corica - 3.
Absent: Councilmen Gorman and Sherratt - 2.
RESOLUTIONS
82-813 Resolution No. 9885 "Dedicating certain real property to public use for
street purposes (Harbor Bay Parkway from Maitland Drive southerly approximately
100 feet - five feet wide)."
Stuart Williams, Attorney for Island City Gun Club, read and filed a letter stating
that the resolution was breach of the lease agreement, and the Club would not
waive any legal rights.
Charles Tillman, 2415 Roosevelt Drive, recommended that the City and Island City
Gun Club renegotiate the lease.
Councilman Diament made a motion, seconded by Councilman Stone, that the resolution
be adopted; the motion carried by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmen Diament,
Stone, and President Corica - 3. Noes: None. Absent: Councilmen Gorman and
Sherratt - 2.
The meeting adjourned at 3:20 p.m.
