HELD MONDAY OCTOBER 29, 1979
Convened at 9:00 o'clock a.m., with President Corica presiding.
ROLL CALL
Present: Councilmen Diament, Sherratt, Tillman, Stone, and President Corica - 5.
Absent: None.
The Notice and Agenda of this Special Meeting is on file in the Office of the
City Clerk. Purpose of the Special Meeting was for an Executive Session for
discussion of personnel matters and action thereon, if desired.
Councilman Sherratt made a motion, seconded by Councilman Stone, that the Council
adjourn to Executive Session for discussion of personnel matters; the motion
carried by unanimous voice vote - 5.
At the conclusion of discussion, Councilman Sherratt made a motion, seconded
by Councilman Diament, that the Council reconvene to special session; the
motion carried on unanimous voice vote - 5.
79 -748 Councilman Sherratt made a motion, seconded by Councilman Stone, to direct the
City Attorney to prepare an agreement with H. D. Weller to serve as a consultant
to the City Council in their search for a new City Manager, and that the fee not
exceed $2500; the motion carried by unanimous voice vote - 5.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the meeting, the Council adjourned
at 10:50 a.m.
