HELD WEDNESDAY - - - - - - - - - - - APRIL 23, 1975
The meeting convened at 7:30 o'clock p.m. in the Council Chamber of the City Hall with
President Corica presiding.
ROLL CALL:
The roll was called and Councilmen Beckam, Hurwitz, Sherratt and President Corica, (4),
were noted present. Absent: None.
1. Receipt of the Notice and Agenda of this Special Meeting had been acknowledged by the
Councilmen and was on file.
2. Councilman Sherratt moved the Council retire to executive session for consideration of
appointment to the vacant Council seat. The motion was seconded by Councilman Hurwitz and
carried on the following roll call vote. Ayes: FOur, Noes: N0n2, Absent: NOne,
3. After a five-minute recess, the Council reconvened in the Conference Room of the City Hall
for their deliberations.
4. Councilman Beckam moved the Council return to open session at 9:16 o'clock p.m. The motion
was seconded by Councilman Hurwitz and carried on the following roll call vote. Ayes: F0Ur,
Noes: None, Absent: None.
There being no objection, the meeting proceeded to "Re5nlUtiOOs".
RESOLUTIONS:
5. The following resolution was introduced by Councilman Beckam, who moved its adoption:
"Resolution No. 8339
Appointing Anne B. Diament to Office of Councilman".
The motion to adopt said resolution was seconded by Councilman Hurwitz and carried on the
following roll call vote. Ayes: Four. Noes: None. Absent: N0ne,
The President declared the foregoing Resolution adopted.
ADJOURNMENT:
6. There being no further business to come before the meeting, the Council adjourned.
