RELD THURSDAY AFTERNOON OCTOEER 9, 1969
The meeting convened at 4:00 olclock p.m. with President La Croix presiding.
ROLL CALL:
Noted present were Councilmen Fore, Levy, Longaker and President La Croix, Jr., (4). Absent:
Councilman McCall, (1).
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Councilman Levy moved the City Council go into executive session for the purpose of considering
appointments to the various Boards and Commissions of the City. Councilman Longaker seconded the
motion which carried on the following roll call vote. Ayes: Four. Noes: None. Absent: Councilman
McCall, (1).
The Council then discussed candidates for appointment to fill a certain vacancy. At the conclusion of
the deliberations, the City Attorney was requested to prepare the appropriate resolution for action at
the next regular meeting of the Council.
RESOLUTIONS:
2. The following resolution was introduced by Councilman Levy, who moved its adoption:
"Resolution No. 7547
Appointing Member of the Recreation Commission."

The motion to adopt said resolution was seconded by Councilman Longaker and on roll call carried by the
following vote. Ayes: Four. Noes: None. Absent: Councilman McCall, (1).
3./ The following resolution was introduced by Councilman Longaker, who moved its adoption:
"Resolution No. 7548
Appointing Member of the Recreation Commission."

The motion to adopt said resolution was seconded by Councilman Fore and on roll call carried by the
following vote. Ayes: Four. Noes: None. Absent: Councilman McCall, (1).
The President declared the foregoing Resolutions adopted.
ADJOURNMENT:
4. There being no further business to come before the meeting, the Council adjourned, to assemble in
regular session on Tuesday evening, October 21, 1969, at 7:30 otclock.
