SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
HELD TUESDAY AFTERNOON APRIL 27, 1965
The meeting convened ift the Conference Room at 4:00 o'clock p.m. with President Godfrey
presiding.
ROLL CALL:
The roll was called and Councilmen Bartley, La Croix, Jr., Rose and President Godfrey, (4),
were noted present. Absent: Councilman McCall, (1).
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Receipt of the Notice and Agenda of the Special Meeting of the Council had been acknowledged
by the Councilmen and was on file. The purpose of the meeting was to give consideration to the
appointment of officers and members of the several City Boards, Commissions, Committees and Agencies
and to take action thereon if so desired.
2Y Councilman Bartley moved the Council go into executive session for its personnel deliberations.
The motion was seconded by Councilman La Croix and unanimously carried.
Following a lengthy discussion of prospective appointees for the various City Boards, it was agreed
that no action would be taken at this session.
ADJOURNMENT:
3. There being no further business to come before the meeting, the Council adjourned.
