1965-06-08 Special CC MinutesSPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
, HELD TUESDAY AFTERNOON JUNE 8, 1965
The meeting convened at 3;30 o'clock p.m. with President Godfrey presiding.
ROLL CALL:
The roll was called and Councilmen Bartley, La Croix, Jr., McCall, Rose and President Godfrey,
(5), were noted preoent. Absent: None.
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Receipt of the Notice and Agenda of the Special Meeting had been acknowledged by each of the
Councilmen and was on file. The purpose of the meeting was to consider the appointment of members
of the several City Boards and to take action in the matter if so desired.
2^/ Councilman La Croix moved the Council go into executive session for its deliberations on pro-
specitive appointees. The motion was seconded by Councilman McCall and carried.
After thorough discussion of the personnel involved in the several Boards, it was determined that no
action would be taken with regard to any of the appointees, prior to receipt of acceptance from all
of those concerned.
ADJOURNMENT:
3. There being no further business to come before the meeting, the Council adjourned.
