SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
HELD TUESDAY AFTERNOON - - - ~ - - - AUGUST 24 1985
The meeting convened at 4:30 o'clock p.m. with President Godfrey presiding.
ROLL CALL:
The roll was called and Councilmen Bartley, La Croix, Jr., McCall and President Godfrey, (4),
were noted present. Absent: Councilman Rose, (1).
NEW BUSINESS:

l. Receipt of the Notice and Agenda of the Special Meetiu8 had been acknowledged by each of the
Councilmen and was on file. The purpose of the meeting was to consider the appointment of members
of the City Boards and to take action in the matter if so desired.
2. Councilman La Croix moved the Council go into executive session for its deliberations on pro-
spective appointees. The motion was seconded by Councilman Bartley and carried.
After discussion of the personnel involved, it was determined that no action would be taken at this
aeaoion.
ADJOURNMENT:
3. There being no further business to come before the meeting, the Council adjourned.
