1961-08-15 Special CC MinutesSPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
HELD TUESDAY AFTERNOON, AUGUST 15, 1961
The meeting convened at 4:00 o'clock p.m. in the Council Chamber, Room 303, City Hall,
Alameda, with President Collischonn presiding.
ROLL CALL:
The roll was called and Councilman Dungan, Godfrey, McCall, Schacht and President Collischonn,
(5), were noted present. Absent: None.
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Receipt of the Notice and Agenda for said special meeting had been acknowledged by each of the
Councilmen and was on file.
2V( The meeting had been called for the purpose of giving consideration to the appointment of
members to various Boards, Commissions and Agencies of the City of Alameda, and taking action thereon
if so desired.
At this point, Councilman Dungan moved the Council go into an executive session for its deliberation
on these items. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schacht and unanimously carried.
Following a discussion of several prospective appointees, it was determined that no action on any
appointments would be taken at this meeting.
ADJOURNMENT:
3. There being no further business to come before the meeting, the Council adjourned.
