The meeting convened at 7:33 o'clock P.M. with President Roebke presiding.
The roll was called and. Councilmen Broyles, Eschen, Morris and President Roebke,
were noted present. Absent: Councilman Munro.
4. The Clerk offered for filing the Affidavit of Service of Notice calling this
Special Meeting, and it was ordered filed.
REPORTS OF COMEITTEES:
2. A report of Joint Transportation Committee of Engineer on railway tube, was pre-
sented and read by Mr. Lochiel M. King. The report was ordered filed.
RESOLUTIONS:
3. Councilman Broyles introduced and moved the adoption of
"Resolution No. 1954
Approving and Accepting Report and Plans of the Joint
Transportation Committee of Engineers for Construction
of Sub-Aqueous Railway Tunnel Across San Antonio
Estuary, and Instructing City Attorney to Prepare and
File Application with the Federal Emergency Administra-
tion of Public Works for Grant and Loan."
Councilman Eschen seconded the motion and on roll call carried unanimously.
4. There being no further business to transact, the Council adjourned to meet in
Regular Session on Tuesday evening, June 4th, 1935, at 8 o'clock P.M.
